Am I allowed to mention other poker sites? there's a magazine for card player(s) that has a nice google map of the USA and you can get details for FL there.

PLO is not allowed by law. Only big-bet poker allowed is Holdem. They can spread limit Omaha but not pot-limit.

the way I understand it, users are allowed to provide links provided it's not a link promoting their own site and it is a link to a site that's relevant to the thread

There's probably a zillion threads on timed vs % rake. The math-heads state that time rake is often lower overall than % rake. The emoticons counter that they hate paying timed rake when they are cold-decked.

Hard Rock Hollywood (FLL) moved to timed rake last saturday. Other HR props may not have done so.
