I think I've got you beat here. A count or even an approximation would take a while to do.

How are you counting expansions?

[/ QUOTE ]

expansions for mtg and such? magic + all expansions = 1 game. i'm also not counting stuff like a checkers/backgammon/chess set as 3 games.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wasn't trying to cheese my way into this. I probably have fewer than 10 CCGs lying around. I don't remember the last time I played one. (Except for Blue Moon, which I really wouldn't put in this category.)

I have multiple separate chess and backgammon sets, and would be counting them as 2 games.

Settlers, Seafarers, Cities and Knights and the 5 and 6 player expansions. How many?

Ticket to Ride and Ticket to Ride Europe?

Italy/France expansion to Power Grid?

Friends and Foes and Sauron for LoTR?

I have 4 copies of Blood Bowl and 4 Death Zones. Is this just one game?

Eon and Mayfair versions of Cosmic Encounter?

Talisman Timescape, Dungeon, City?

heh, that can get hairy. basically i'd go for things that have their own box. ttr: europe, lotr f&f, etc but probably not pg italy, mystery train, fishermen of catan, that kind of stuff. i also wouldn't count multiple editions of the same game (bloodbowl, ce, twilight imperium, etc).

Kids' sports trophies -- 21

[/ QUOTE ]

i have like 30 of these just from my childhood. surely this cannot even be CLOSE to winning

[/ QUOTE ]I have about 100 trophies from racing bikes and probably 20ish soccer/baseball/tee ball type trophies for being on teams that went like 0-12 or whatever (Raleigh probably created participation trophies and my teams were always the worst)

I'm sure this still isn't near the top. Someone is gonna roll in here with like 200 chess championship trophies or whatever. If there is one thing I have learned on the internet, no matter how much of something you think you have someone else will always have more of it. I know a guy who owns like 3000 copies of Super Mario 1, I mean come on!

edit

like I would think my 3 copies of The Big Lebowski (all original no collector) would win, but someone probably owns like 12 copies of it.

I thought I was the only one on this side of the pond that bought Games Workshop games (mind you, twenty years ago). Those were some good titles. I'd count game + expansion as a single title BTW, although I am a little confused why you have FOUR copies of Blood Bowl.

By the way, best GW title was probably Block Mania w/Mega Mania expansion.

Used to play in a league. We had 30 people playing in the main league and a feeder league too. The game was going out of print and I was moving. I thought I might want to try to start a league again after I moved. I worked in a game store on a semi-volunteer basis and got paid in product. Two are still unopened.

I have 16000+ comic books. My wife is overjoyed with the storage area these require.

I have 3 funtioning wireless routers. The reason is too annoying (to me) to even relate.

100+ Bicentennial Quarters.

~1000 Grateful Dead concerts on Maxell XL II tapes

[/ QUOTE ]

nh, sir. I think I have 500-600, though only half are on XL IIS tapes.

How about old GD concert tickets? I have about 230 from shows I attended (went to ~240 shows).
