1/2 NL - Aces linecheck on nasty board
1/2 NL FR 9-handed
I have $210, Villain and MP2 have me covered. No reads on either. I planned to bet/fold turn. As played I think check/folding river is ok vs. unknown, I hope? Is this really a check/fold on turn? UTG limps, Hero raises to $9 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2 folds, Villain calls, MP2 calls, others fold. Flop J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (Pot - $31) Hero bets $19, Villain calls, MP2 folds. Turn 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (Pot - $69) Hero bets $37, Villain calls. River K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (Pot - $145) Hero checks, Villain insta-shoves, Hero folds. |

$23 on flop. Other than that, fine.

Re: 1/2 NL - Aces linecheck on nasty board
More on the flop, more on the turn (b/f), then shove river
As played, I dunno what I'd do on the river |

[ QUOTE ]
More on the flop, more on the turn (b/f), then shove river [/ QUOTE ] This is value-stacking ourselves or turning our hand into a bluff IMO. KJ might call a shove and there's a very slim chance that KQ calls a shove (slim chance that he calls a big turn bet in the first place). However, unknown's river-shove-calling range, as a whole, probably has AA beat. |
