Re: Stars 320, Turn spot BvB
Certainly not an easy fold. SB could have been floating you on the flop knowing that it is unlikely you have an ace. I would reluctantly fold because SB has a big stack and there is no way you can call a big bet on the river. I also prefer a bigger raise on the flop. Makes it seem less like a value raise and more as if you're telling the SB that you know he doesn't have an ace. Since he wouldn't expect you to have an ace this is more likely to induce a 3-bet bluff and you can shove.

Pretty sick spot. I would say given your stack size and villains stack size at this stage of trny its a fold.
Villain looks like he wants to get his stack in here. What hands are you beating here? AK-A10 raise yr BB, so that leaves A7,A4,A3,A2. I dont think he wants to play a big pot with you with x-8...and the absence of reads suggests you cant call basing on that assumption anyway. FOLD |

Re: Stars 320, Turn spot BvB
I don't understand why you would value-bet the pot (or close to) on the turn without a plan (although personally I suspect you had one).
You beat all bluffs and aces if he is a tard. It's always awful analysis to 'put him on the straight' but you should be most worried about 7 9. If he flats the 1100 and the river bricks what's your plan? I would have check-called the turn and called river. Here I fold quite happily but I never get here like this. Bad (unknown so presume bad) players rarely play for stacks in unraised pots. I have him very strong on the turn. |

Meh I just get it in, a real donkamenter would probably have a better idea than me though.

Re: Stars 320, Turn spot BvB
Man so gross.
I can't see him limping a good A here, and if he does i don't know if he goes so crazy with it on the turn. He's CRing you pretty small, and i'm not sure he's calling a raise on the flop with like 85/65. So most of what i see is weak A's that are now two pair, or i guess a pretty elaborate semi bluff with like 75. |
