If this is a set I wonder why villain wouldn't have shoved or c/r'd this on flop. Cold call and then shove just seems like a strage line. Could be a made flush especially with his numbers. I also believe that AsJx is not out of the questions. This is a tough spot that I probably fold crying. It's closer than you think though look at these numbers and check villains range, again I didn't include sets in the range just doesn't seem possible.

I reasoned as follows:
By limp-reraise I've pretty much told him what range I am in (something like QQ+, AK, or complete air) so when he calls I put him either on a pretty high pair himself (99+, maybe AK, AQ. Don't really think he would play AJ here). When he calls my flop bet he could either have something like AQs or a set. I don't really see anything else here, except maybe QQ+, so when he shoves turn I put him on a set which got nervous I might draw out if the 4th spade hits and he doesn't have one, or a made flush. Is there anything else I should account for here or something I've missed? |
