Re: Is micro limit poker or just a crapshoot?
I want to further expand on my previous post. My second reaction after seeing what the person played when taking my money was, "Keep playing that way, keep playing that way!"
I should say that both reactions were just thoughts in my head and were not actually expressed to the other player. |

Re: Is micro limit poker or just a crapshoot?
If anything, the highest limits are a crapshoot, not the lowest limits. Top guys are playing the slightest of edges against each other, and the winners have very marginal winrates compared to winners at micro-stakes.
In micro-stakes, a tight, solid, basic game plan + experience is all it really takes to beat the hell out of the calling stations. Games that run like play money are a great thing; you should be able to best the hell out of play money in the long run (in between massive suckouts). |

IMO, the micro stakes at Stars are tougher than my local B&M $3/6 game.
