50NL - QQ (overpair) facing c/r on flop
Villian is playing 15/12 in 37 hands and hasn't done anything out of the ordinary. Villian also instacalled my rereaise pre-flop. I figured he had to know I was pretty strong. Seems like he would reraise me preflop with AA/KK. Am I giving him too much credit on the flop?

Re: 50NL - QQ (overpair) facing c/r on flop
What do you put him on that beats you? Quads? 77? You have 66% equity against {77, 99-QQ, AhQh, AhKh} and if you add in KK-AA you still have about 44% equity, which is enough to shove here. Push all day.

Yeah, the more I think about it I realize I screwed up. I would put him on AKs or JJ...

[ QUOTE ]
Yeah, the more I think about it I realize I screwed up. I would put him on AKs or JJ... [/ QUOTE ] u didnt screw up until u folded his range is way too wide, and polarized towards one pair hands that u r ahead of that a fold of any sort is ugly... edit- to clarify that by wide i mean, any pair 22-AA, and AK, AQ ish hands... |
