$5+0.50 JJ from the BB
I chose to play it slow preflop - I didn't want to raise and then have to play OOP with a big pot. On the flop, I'm not leading into a board with an A because even if it didn't hit them they're not going to think I did checking out of the BB. After that, the intent is to make the turn bet look like a bluff and go for a cheap showdown.

A small bet tells me they've got nothing, a large bet would tell me they're protecting their made aces from flush draws. Same on the turn. If someone makes a huge bet on the turn, I'm not taking a chance to call assuming a bluff. So the turn would go c/c or c/f depending on the size of the villain's bet. On the river I would try a smallish blocking bet so they will just call with a weak ace. |
