Re: i hate this i quit!
He has a dominated suited hand, what did you expect? Yeah, I'd quit too after such a horrific beat.

Re: i hate this i quit!
This guy must have suffered some unforseeable demise after going all-in with A8. DUCY?

Re: i hate this i quit!
this is a sick beat because there are only 3 more 8s left and at least 400 cards in a deck very ul

Re: i hate this i quit!
Someone should point out that 1. You were the 2nd lowest chips stack, vunerable to attack. 2. You were out of position and perhaps should not have raised due to the position. 3. You DID raise with probably the most costly hand in holdem. 4. Then you called a re-raise from a previous limper. Could as easily been AA or KK in that spot.
AJ is not a strong enough hand to stand a re-raise, out-of-position, especially when you are short stacked. And like all the others said... if you're going to quit over a mild beat like that, you probably shouldn't be playing for real money anyway. P.S. If it makes you feel better, I had AK suited today, flopped the nut flush and lost to Q,3 offsuit when the turn and river went 3,Q and the guy filled up! |

Re: i hate this i quit!
A8 and AJ only have 3 non-tying outs each, which makes it a 50/50 flipcoin, not a beat
