Re: Stats Post, 10K Hands on Stars 0.25/0.50 and 0.50/1.00
Dammit, I've been trying my best to avoid setting up an image hosting service. But I suppose it's inevitable. Give me a few minutes.

Yep, PFR is a little low. W$SD is a little high, WSD is a little low. Nothing seems too out of line except you fold your blinds to steals WAY too much.

W$SD is a little high, WSD is a little low. [/ QUOTE ] This must be an overcorrection from before. Old Me would W$SD about 52%, and I have deliberately tried to play much more solidly. I'm not sure how to best find a happy medium here. I used to cry and call too much, and now I do that what seems like hardly at all. So does this mean I'm being scared off too many rivers, or giving up too many hands on earlier streets, or both? [ QUOTE ] Nothing seems too out of line except you fold your blinds to steals WAY too much. [/ QUOTE ] This I think is a much more serious problem for me. Quite simply I suck at blind defense. It's the point at which the stealer has the widest possible range of hands. So I'm least sure of where I'm at throughout the hand, and I don't like playing out of position. So I find it easy to just fold and move on to the next hand. Can you point me to some reading material on this subject? |

1. VPIP in SB could be higher (not by much, but a lil'). Take advantage of the half-priced SB special!
2. Defend your BB more. You're giving the blind thieves way too much credit here. 3. Att. to steal could be a touch higher (not too much). 4. PFR could also be a touch higher (not too much). |

Re: Stats Post, 10K Hands on Stars 0.25/0.50 and 0.50/1.00
i think your attempt to steal blinds% could be higher. im at around 35% and its a nice profit for me .
u are folding bb to a steal too much. not sure if you've read WITHG by stox- his book will help improve your play in the blinds. start firing more continuation bets on the flop. your only betting 51% of the time after you've raised preflop. this is a leak. i think 66% or higher is optimal in this spot. |

Re: Stats Post, 10K Hands on Stars 0.25/0.50 and 0.50/1.00
Aggro issues are apparent, I still think 20k hands are better to determine leaks but in this case I would do more studying of my positional play and determine for myself if and what adjustments I am making based on position.
At 18% I am not sure that you are playing some hands a little too much and some others not enough. At this point in your game and experience I would start thinking about looking at the betting patterns of my opponents a bit more, taking notes and learning how to range my opponents on each street. This takes a lot of practice and in this stage I would focus more on these aspects of my game and make sure I am focused completely on all the action on one table at a time. |
