Stars $400nl JJ in a 3b pot oop
Villian in the hand is Bouge_Todd (19/15.6/4.8 over 260 hands). He's a regular but i havent played many hands with him. Anyway, I'm not sure what to do here. Note: we're slightly less than 150bb deep.

i haven't played with wader in a while but i think that you played this hand perfect if you folded the turn... calling is pretty horrid vs wader imo

Re: Stars $400nl JJ in a 3b pot oop
you can check call the turn and decide on river if you suspect a float (i'd very rarely fold the turn) since his value betting range is very small here. i've been guilty of check calling down with as bad as pocket deuces in these spots against float-happy types but in general i think most players won't bet the river with air once you call the turn, since your intent is clear.

Re: Stars $400nl JJ in a 3b pot oop
Tough Spot. Against a TAG regular this could definitely be a float, since it's such a dry board, so most good players would c-bet. KQ and KJ are really the two hands you gotta wory about, I would think with those stats he would fold KT and K9 to 3bets, and I think AK would be a 4 bet, though it is possible he could have just called with it.
Call here. |

Same opinion.
The high aggression factor and dry flop just makes a float attempt such a strong possibility. |

Any aggro 3betting history or anything? If you guys haven't tangled then I would fold against todd, but if there's any sig history then a call is good.

Re: Stars $400nl JJ in a 3b pot oop
What do you guys think of a c/r all in (assuming im not folding)? I feel like if i call he won't bluff shove the river cause he won't have enough $$ to make me fold if im calling the turn. In my opinion he is done if i call the turn. c/r also protects me vs a river A and other stuff
