Default Re: 400 NL, triple barrel fun.

How often are you double barreling a player like this?

I'll do it around 20% of the time because passive semi-tight players tend to have something and not go away, but I fear if I never double barrel I'm opening myself up too much. It's always a subject that interests me and I'd like to get to where I'm making better, more well thought out decisions when it comes to double barreling. In this hand you DO have some outs if he can't fold a middle pair, and you might even be ahead of a draw. Anyway, I play several levels lower so I'm not offering any critique, but I'm interested in your thoughts on why you decided to double barrel in this sitation.

PF is reasonable at the right tables, flop is standard. You are obviously reping a two barrel bluffed AK on the river and it should work, however, if he is the kind of player who looks for an excuse to call he might call on the basis of your turn bet ("anything he bet on the turn should be scared of that king, he must be bluffing, I call!").
