I would kinda like a turn shove, if they are good enough to fold a lone 8 to that you can either pot it or go b3b with a 1/2 pot lead.
basically looking to get as much as possible in on the turn while freerolling. |

turn shove isnt that great, its just too much to risk (when several players could conceivably have J8) and too little to win. we want to get called by worse hands here, you dig?
as for river play, i'd probably just valuebet it for most of pot and hope he calls. If he raises its probably a puke-fold (unless its a little raise, then meh-call). and come on bet the flop its a limped pot and c/r gives up your hand's strength too easily. also your flush draw does nothing here but trick you into thinking your hand is bigger than it is. Getting a flush is the last thing you want here (unless its a straight flush and somebody else has the nut flush, but how often does THAT happen?) |
