Comm 40: A fold I made
Decent afternoon game yesterday.
UTG is an old white guy who has been playing at Commerce, might be/was a prop there at one time, since the Lincoln administration. He's pretty rocky/tight-aggressive. SB is a solid pro(?) who's there a bunch -- he's an older light-skinned Latino guy who always wears T-shirts with cats/lions/jaguars on them. BB is a random donk. My image should be pretty solid at this point, and I have played a lot with SB and UTG and I believe they respect my play. UTG limps, I limp right behind him with AQo, there may have been one more limper in MP, blinds complete/check. Flop: A87r SB checks, BB bets, UTG calls, I raise. SB 3-bets, BB folds, UTG caps, I fold. |

Fine, but why are you overlimping in EP with AQo? Not a criticism just curious.

Re: Comm 40: A fold I made
UTG sounds like Richard, in which case your hand your hand is never any good. Is the guy invariably wearing a heavy jacket?
I don't know which is worse: the limp or you not saying "hi" to me. I had an excuse: I had very few chips and was embarrassed. I made a big comeback to minus $400. |

Curious as to why everyone really hates the limp. I do raise here more often than not, but didn't think I was making a huge error in not doing so this time. Are we saying raise because two big unsuited cards don't play as well multi-way? |

Re: Comm 40: A fold I made
hate pf but flop is pretty good since you are in 3rd place and probably drawing dead and not having outs is bad imo

Re: Comm 40: A fold I made
Raise to get out players behind you to hopefully "buy" the button, to get more money into the pot, because you likely have the best hand, and to find out how much the blinds like their hands.
