i'm pretty confident that the new record will outdo the old one.....we're saving the best songs for when the new record actually drops, and the stuff on the myspace isn't quite finished yet.

It's not bad - I don't really agree with your self-comparisons, I'd say it's more like a sort of Les Savy Fav/We Are Scientists/Jimmy Eat World mash-up in a lot of ways, but it's something that could get legs if you catch a break and get a single. Congrats, dude - it must be sick to see your stuff displayed so prominently.

For some reason, MySpace is only playing 30-sec chunks for me - you might want to look into that.

Have you looked into eMusic at all? That might be a good avenue for your sound, especially if you can get hooked up with a solid review and good connectivity with the "sounds like" section. It caters to music just like yours, really.

And op, band seems decent, way too pop rock for me. Other people have said and I agree, I could actually see this band being popular with 16 year old girls (not saying this to be mean, just what I know from popular music in high school).
