Pokerstars, changing the cards
Ok so I made a new set of cards but when I replace the old images with the new ones pokerstars updates again to a new version directly after I changed the cards. How do I change the cards and actually keep it that way?

Re: Pokerstars, changing the cards
run pokerstars.exe not pokerstarsupdate.exe that the default shortcuts point to.

Re: Pokerstars, changing the cards
How about you post a screenshot of your new cards so we can all admire your handy work? I love to see what kind of cards others make.

Can you post a screen grab? Because "someone" is probably going to be me. It may have already been done. I think you might be talking about the Full Card version of the PhattyLiver deck for FTP? You cant view Full Hole Cards in Stars. You have to have a index in the upper left corner. There are similar decks for Stars, but they have the index. |

Re: Pokerstars, changing the cards
I cannot find it. It was something similar to this:
[ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] but slightly different font and little less contrast colors. Very similar to this: [ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] but without the index and the shadows. But it doesn't matter cause there are many similar mods (like the first one) and what I tried them there's very little difference. So anything as the first picture would be good. I tried the simplified (everything that was available by PS itself) deck but I just don't like it. Maybe I'm used to the old or it's that index. FTP has no index (like the first picture) what I really like. The index is distracting (or maybe it's something else but FTP cards like the first picture are superior to all PS mods I've ever seen). |
