I don't care how juicy it is, you have to be a massive luckbox to win.

Also, worst losing session of my life yesterday. Two tables of HU vs. a hyper-aggro maniac who HITS EVERY SINGLE BOARD. -$750 in like 20 minutes at 1/2.

I hate poker.

I think there was a difference between 2000 and now. There is like 1/l0th of the player base. Even Moneymaker faced Chan, Ivey, and other tough pros. Now, you can get to the final table and face nothing but weak competition. But juiciest, as in "most moneys," I agree.

Your right. If I only look at wiki once in a while.

year winna' playa's
2003 Chris Moneymaker 839
2004 Greg Raymer 2,576
2005 Joe Hachem 5,619
2006 Jamie Gold 8,773
2007 Jerry Yang 6,358

Incredible growth, I will say. Funny, I know nothing at all about Jerry Yang.

Well, I just learned his strategy:

I study my opponents very carefully, and when I sensed something, when I sensed some weakness, I took a chance. Even if I had nothing, I decided to raise, reraise, push all-in or make a call....

That quote just changed my game 4-ever. Even if I have nothing while sitting at a full ring table, I should make that call. Sweet.

Congratulations to a newly minted pro:

Yang holds a Master's degree in health psychology from Loma Linda University and worked as a therapist and social worker. He quit his job after winning the World Series. [citation needed] He is married and has six children.

Wow. He is really going live in California and support six children on a 6 mil win after giving half of it to charity and taxes?

gl, Bro.

I don't think I could support myself for the rest of my life on 3 mil in California if I crashed on someone's couch.
