I fold pre-flop and I don't get the turn donk. I'd prefer a donk bet on the flop to get him to call down if you think he will likely get suspicious or wait for the river to make it look like you have a busted draws. I suspect that a guy like this probably can't fold much anyway so I'd just check raise the flop here for value and because it's not how most people play flopped trips.

But on a paired boards people fear trips so I like to play like I don't have them when I have a hand that I want calls from. My point was that this guy looks like a calling station and it really doesn't matter what you do so just raise the flop and watch him call down with A high. |
