JTo is not the hand to do 3bet with oop.

Why not, if he's stealing wide, it should be profitable.

I prefer a different hand to 3-bet with, like 75s or 22 but whatever. I know it seems like betting the flop turns your hand into a bluff, and in a way it does. But villain is going to have a weak hand here a ton and there's a decent amount of money in the pot so I don't mind taking it down now.

Another thing that makes me want to bet the flop and shutdown afterward is the fact that with the line you took, villain knows you have a weak made hand. Thus if he decides to bluff the turn he's usually bluffing the river. And if we're not willing to call 2 streets with this hand I'd rather just bet the flop and take it from there.

Also how's NY treating you? Thought you didn't have time for poker :P (this is Blake btw)

If he's willing to lay down the pot too often, why wouldn't it be?

obviously then it is. but that and "stealing wide" do not necessarily mean the same thing.

True, I should have been more specific. I just find that 2/4 guys usually like to play fit or fold and obviously that works to our advantage.

agree with others who said u should be betting.....

Bet flop here 100 percent if your 3 betting with j-10off, he folds out a ton of hands and jus tmakes this much easier to play....if u are 3 betting then check calling then check folding on k high flops its just gonna encourage anyone decent to rape u post flop, bet the flop check calling is so weak its just gross and your gonna be put in a really gross spot
