$16 pair + NFD vs all in @ low blinds
Do I have to lay this down or does my larger than average stack allow me to gamble here given some dead money and my robust draw?

Don't ever call here. You would be risking more than 3/4 of your healthy stack to draw to maybe 30% wins getting like 1.3:1.

Even if villain is really strong (like straight, TPTK, bottom set or KdQd), we have like 40%. Add upp the overlay and the gooftard factor and I think this is a push.

One guy bets the pot, another calls, and another guy pushes. I don't think this is the spot to draw to 9 outs.

I don't think it matters too much really, with only 30 invested folding isn't a big deal. If you had some chips invested postflop I'd want to call probably.

Re: $16 pair + NFD vs all in @ low blinds
How is what we invested really all that relevant?
I mean, I'm very unsure here, and probably should be folding these spots more often than I do - however, I feel that the pot+call ahead of us is a good thing. |
