I think you ruined this hand on the flop.
You had 3 big fish in there with you with the nuts! Flat call his min raise which means the other 2 will probably call. Chances are 1 of the donks will improve in someway on the turn and you can get paid properly. Let them draw to their 1 card king flush or something, then make them pay when they hit it. I flat call the flop then keep the fish interested with a half pot sized turn bet, followed by a value bet on the river. |

Yeah, as played and given stacks on turn, I'd just rope him in like Dire suggests.

I'm just flat-calling the flop. Keep everybody in since they are all morons, keep the fish in the lead, make it look like I'm drawing/weak and just staying in because of great pot odds. If the board pairs I'm not thrilled but I'll deal with it then. Otherwise I'm happy to move on the turn.
The 3-bet just looks too strong/transparent to me. |

I like Dires' line.
But if I shove the flop (not saying the way I played it was better, it really wasnt), wont they think something like "he shoves, he has got to have the nuts!!"? |

[/ QUOTE ] You were the one who said that people have been bluffing him a ton, and he's been calling down. And if he remmebers you from the previous day, maybe he associates you with that. I dunno, interesting spot. |

Call flop and see the turn multi-multiway. Much better chance of extracting. They don't have a set or else they'll repop on the flop anyway when it comes back to them.

You can bet way smaller on the turn so he's more likely to call and still get stacks in by the river with the line you took.
Ill often just flat the flop here too. |
