N9ne Steakhouse in Vegas.
Is there a better steakhouse in Vegas than N9ne? A friend and I are comped at the Wynn Friday and Saturday thanks to our other friend dropping $30K on the blackjack table last trip and want to thank him for the free room by taking him out to dinner Saturday night.
We'll split the 4 person dinner tab 2 ways. How much would you guess after dinner and drinks the total tab would be after tax and tip? $500? |

Re: N9ne Steakhouse in Vegas.
If you are comped at the Wynn, both the SW steakhouse and the Country Club grill are top tier for steaks. I have eaten at both, and they were among the best I have had. I haven't been to N9ne, but I hear it is very good as well. Other top places for steak would be Delmonico's at the Venetian and Craftsteak at the MGM.

N9ne is very good.
Dinner and drinks would be around $500 to $600 for four. If you drink wine, it will be more. |

I ate at Nine last time I was in Vegas and thought it was excellent. Figure $100 a person + drinks.

Re: N9ne Steakhouse in Vegas.
You will never get anyone to agree on the best steakhouse, but there are several competing ones that I think get most often mentioned. I would include Nine in that group but as someone said, if you are comped at the wynn get a free meal at SW Steakhouse if you can, or eat outside on the terrace at the country club grill (though SW has a better menu IMO). Other ones I'd put up there are Delmonico's (Venetian), Craftsteak (MGM), and Prime (Bellagio).
The real difference is the ambiance - Nine is like having a great steak dinner in a club and will have the best window dressing -DeathDonkey |

Re: N9ne Steakhouse in Vegas.
<edit, my comments were about Prime, not N9ne. My bad..>
I ate at Prime two years ago. Same trip we went to Mesa Grill, Aquaknox and Delmonico and Nine was my Least favorite of the four by a LOT. I just personally thought the food was average and to me nothing stood out except for the service, and the service was equally great at the other places. |
