Re: nl 100, I played my AA extremely passive. line check.
Obviously you're not getting maximum value out of your AA and you're giving him every opportunity to out draw you.
I'd like to see a c.bet on the flop here, as you should try to get some value ouot of AQ. The king here should be bet aswell because the may have TT and just picked up a straight draw or he may have AK in which case you should be sucking value out of him. The two is a hramless card and he checks to you, now i'm pretty sure you're ahead now because he's essentailly called you're pf 3bet and then committed no more money to the pot so you should bet here to get value from whatever hand he happens to hold. If you bet one street and get called then it's fine to check later streets in the name of pot control, but I seriously think you're ahead here and you're not maximizing your profits which is as detrementtal to your win rate as not minimizing your losses. |

AA, 3bet pot, get it in any way you can. His line looks a lot like Ak or a mid pocket pair.

Re: nl 100, I played my AA extremely passive. line check.
I agree that the standard line is bet/bet/push, but I see an argument for sometimes checking behind on this flop for deception/balancing purposes if you check behind here when you dont have a piece of the board, but if you do check the flop behind you should bet for value on one of the remaining streets

I think you definitely need to bet this flop. This is a pretty draw-heavy board, and I see no reason to let them draw for free.

Re: nl 100, I played my AA extremely passive. line check.
Gross man. It's okay to play it passive sometimes but this makes me a sad panda. Lets just ignore the flop and turn for now...what is up with the river? Did he decide to trap you for 3 streets? Not value betting and getting a call from AK or some mid pair is just refusing free money.
