There isn't anything on the board that beats you but a set so there's no way you can fold here. He could easily have a random two-pair or a flush draw or air in order of likelihood.

Random two pair? is he playing T8? The only hand that makes sense and you can beat here is JJ. Which is still a very unlikely hand.

T8 is so unlikely because of the preflop action. He's quite tight and tight players don't tend to call with this T8 in the small blind unless it's just completing the blind.

Yeah, sorry about that - misread the hand the first time. I still don't think it's a fold though.

I can see that nobody wants to fold this set (and I don't think I would either - because I play at $25NL and people play so bad there that this could even be a misplayed AT) but no one has given any sounds justification of it, any solid reasons for the fold guys?

Yup I guess my range attribution sucked for this hand. Shove for reasons NSM stated.

Shove, but I imagine it's a lot closer than many here are making it out to be.

Come on, this guy's a nit. Sets are a huge part of his range, what makes this a call IMO is that we can put JJ and some QQ combos in his range.

It's not a lock. But it's not really close either.

What NSM said. People do random stuff. You need a much better read to even think about getting away here.
