NL 400 AQ oop fold to river raise?
I have A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the SB. I opt to just call the raise from the CO tag because it's my first orbit and he and I have some history.
Flop ($30): K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I check, he pots, I call. Turn ($90) is the 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I check, he checks. River ($90): Jc I bet $48, he raises to $148. Call or fold? |

I'll add that in our history, he stacked off to me in a slightly bad spot for him, and we've played a few pots where I interpret him as a pretty aggressive tag...always cbets, and pots it when he does.

[ QUOTE ]
fold, they have it 9/10 [/ QUOTE ] It's this type of thinking that makes these plays work so well as bluffs. People know that if you dont have the ace you will fold. That's why i was saying to stop yourself being exploitable in these type of situautions its better to call at least some % of the time. |

note the board is also paired
this is a fold, although i think i prefer check/calling the river against someone that can vbet thin |

Re: NL 400 AQ oop fold to river raise?
Your river bet is small, looks like a small diamond. I call prety quickly, here. Of course, he can be tricky with Ad on the turn, or just rivered a boat with KJ...
