Re: Defend with K9o
Raise preflop. As played, looks standard to me. Why are you posting UTG?

Re: Defend with K9o
If you were in the bb I think this is fine. A flop peel is okay with a gut shot, bdfd and and over card. Fold turn is good.

Am I the only one that c/r's the flop and leads the turn?

Am I the only one that c/r's the flop and leads the turn? [/ QUOTE ] I definetly thought about that, I opted not to because of the small pot, but I don't think it's a bad play at all. |

Am I the only one that c/r's the flop and leads the turn? [/ QUOTE ] I think this is a bad board for this. Due to all the draws on board I doubt a TAG will ever fold a pair or A high here (I probably wouldn't). Furthermore, every broadway hand is continuing at least to the river so our FE goes way down. OTOH, I'm much more likely to be c/r'ing the flop with a lower gutterball (87 on a 643 board) as a turn follow through well fold out a lot of high cards villain will be holding. I play this hand the same as OP without any other read on villain than his stats. |
