Considering his bet sizing you shouldn't care less if he took you to valuetown

The bet sizes are pretty awful. Although I can't think of anything in his range you are beating on the river.

That river bet is so weird. Like calling the turn bet is Ok IMO and once you call the turn you have to call the river.

I think you need to bet the turn. I mean he's got have some sort of flush draw, straight draw enough of the time here to make a bet. Plus he called you on the button so who knows what he called with. I also think most sets raise on this board. Overall I think you lose less money by leading.

Re: 50nl, overpair on connected board. Did i get taken to town?
I think the turn bet suggests a SD/FD. It's just the the bet on the river seems to counteract it by making it look like a poorly sized value bet (maybe this is villains way of getting value from a full house). Since you c/c the turn after cbetting the flop, I suppose it's not so unusual for the villain to put you on a missed draw after you check the river - and so he/she decides to take a final stab at the pot with nothing. I think leading the turn prevents this situation however.

I always feel weird doubling this turn because i figure alot of draws call then when the river comes a off suit king i feel weird about check calling.
Alot of the time i mind myself check calling the turn because i find draws bet alot. Looking at it now i feel it may be a leak, but i find i get value out of random draws betting |
