Default 50nl 337bb Deep

Mp in this hand had over $200 at one point and sucks. Villain and I have been taking turns eating away at his stack as well as some poor players that have been to the table. Villain seems like a pretty good tag, haven't seen him get out of line. We haven't had any significant pots up to this point
Villain is running 24/21/3 over 163 hands, I'm about the same.

Grunch

I usually find myself mucking pf when I am facing a 3 bet before it even gets to me with AK. It may seem weak but whatever, I will avoid spots like this. If youre going to 4 bet, then make it like 16 or more seeing how deep you are. As played you have to decide if youre going to play for stacks on the flop I think. The flop is very safe looking and you have tptk. I like the flop call if you think youre ahead, but once you call that I dont see folding the turn or river tbh. There is one combo of AA but a few of AK/AQ. Not sure how likely villain is to be overplaying AQ but you never know. After the flop Im going into c/c mode on the turn and river because you cant possibly fold the river once you have that much invested. Ugh, bet then again I hate playing for stacks with tptk here. Im really not sure what better flop youre looking at with anything short of flopping the nuts but villain would have to be dumb to go this crazy with tptk this deep. I really dont know.

It would be useful to know in what ways CO sucks and how Button has been playing against him. Has Button been 3-betting him light, as far as you know?

I hate hands like this one, because after all that work playing against MP (or CO, which is I think who you mean), my results at this table are all going to hinge on who wins this tense monster pot I'm playing against another TAG.

I guess I'm saying that in a pot that became so bloated preflop, I'm probably not going to be able to let go of my AK. But there's a good chance you're chopping if you're not crushed by the case aces or case 7's or a light 3-bet from a hand like 76s.

I know it sounds weak, but I would consider either folding preflop or just cold-calling in an effort to avoid playing for 300+ BB stacks with TPTK.

If I can 3-bet with AK, fine. If it is 3-bet before me, I am coin-flipping at absolute best if I call, and I can't be certain I am not losing a decent amount when the probable 5-bet comes and I have to fold if I 4-bet. Thus, I fold preflop.

However, I think if you play this hand you get a better line on where you are at with a cold-call preflop, raise flop to see where you are at while doing so at a lower price-tag. In this case you have extracted almost no information and are in a situation where you hate every call you have to make. As played I probably c/c, though if he fires at a river I think twice about everything I have done to this point if he pushes it all-in.

4betting a good tag who is apparently milking a deep fish with a speculative hand that has no room to improve other than one pair OOP 400BB deep. I dont know You realize that the only thing you beat on this flop is air?

the problem here is that check/calling down to the river is enough to get nearly our whole stack in here. First off a fold or a 4bet to $16 is likely the desired play here. I would definitely feel more comfortable stacking off here with a $30 flop pot size and $152 behind me. The reason being the only hand we are truly worried about is AA as any hand combo containing a 7 would have been a mistake for BTN to call with preflop and I could live with his dumb luck there.

FWIW, the pot got large enough preflop that you can easily play for stacks with three postflop non-overbets if you want to.
