Re: $4/180 - Final heads up hand
I think everything is standard until the river (heads up is all about the player, so only you know if your flop / turn call is good). Your river bet as a bluff is fine. Once he c/r you, I would throw the hand away, but if he made a hero call with 77 or some nonesense more power to him.

Re: $4/180 - Final heads up hand
I disagree with the "Never fold SB Heads up" theory. Pot odds may seem to justify a call, but using only pot odds heads up gives away all your edges (position, card selection, reads, etc...) and turns poker into a slot machine.
So many otherwise great players suddenly want to just "get lucky" heads up instead of playing the game. It hurts my head. Sure variance is sick heads up. But you can still use your edges. (and in many ways, they are greatly magnified). Pot odds are great. Pot odds help decision making. But they are nowhere near the only factor. Even heads up. |

Re: $4/180 - Final heads up hand
DEF raise the flop...you'll find out then and there where you stand and wont have to be spewing on the rest of the streets.
Call pre is fine IMHO. |
