AK - where to fold with TPTK?
Villain is 17/14/5.48 TAG
It's obvious Hero made a mistake calling down to the SD, but what would you change in this hand? I think folding to flop min raise and calling flop minraise and folding to turn bet are both good ways to play this one. But what play is better? It's obvious Hero made a mistake calling down to the SD [/ QUOTE ] Certainly isn't obvious to me, the only hands that are beating you on the flop are AA,66,55. I'd probably shove flop after he cr's or just raise all in on turn |

Re: AK - where to fold with TPTK?
tough spot, the only spot i can find a fold is the river, some guys min cr the flops with their draws and by that river all of the draws have completed

Re: AK - where to fold with TPTK?
Any reads on this guy? Has he been making good plays lately? What are his bet sizes like?
This is a re-raised pot. You hit your ace. You should not be trying to look for a fold here. I would consider pushing flop and I am DEFINETELY pushing turn. If he is a good TAG, he makes this turn bet with a made hand never. He would know he is giving odds to a flush draw. If he knows this, he is probably trying to price himself into a flush draw. Push overtop is necessary here. |

Re: AK - where to fold with TPTK?
No special reads on this guy, but his turn bet says he is certainly going to play for stacks and will push on the river. So, calling a turn bet we should be ready to call one more on the river. That's why I think folding the turn isn't bad.
But from the other hand he can just have draws. So, maybe pushing isn't bad either. |
