[NL100] QQ Getting raised
In a previous hand villain called my preflop raise with KTo, called a continuation bet on a KQ4 board, and called a river bet after a J hit. He's kind of loose, slightly passive.
100bb stacks, I raise QcQs preflop to 3.50, he calls in the small blind. Flop comes out 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] He checks, I bet 6$, he raises me to 15$, I call Turn 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] He bets out around 1/2 pot, 17$, I raise to 39$, he pushes, I call. |

Good only thing that beats you is 99/55. He could have tons of draws.

Re: [NL100] QQ Getting raised
you butchered this hand on the turn, min-raising. Fold turn.

Re: [NL100] QQ Getting raised
I agree that turn play is for sure questionable, but i think that once we put 40% of our stack in, on a board like this, we're just not folding with the amounts of draws out there.

[/ QUOTE ] I raised like that for two reasons: Charge draws (I know he has odds to call the raise, but he doesn't have odds for his bet + draw), and to get him to commit with a hand that is weaker than him. If I raise more than I did, I am pretty much pushing, so I feel my raise keeps like A9/TT/JJ in the hand. He showed up with AA. |

Re: [NL100] QQ Getting raised
i like your play. 3-betting flop is an option but i think i like calling and seeing the turn more. pretty much only 999/555 that beats us (and maybe 45 and the like).
