There's a 5/10 local live game that is perfect for 'peddling' aces, and I'll buy in for the min and this strategy has not worked out well for me.

All-in for 2.8k PF with AAJTds vs KJ35 unsuited, lost when he turns trip threes.

All-in with KKJTds for $1800, my friend who I have staked had AA75us and was all-in for $800. The other guy had K266ss, and won when he flopped quads.

Particularly, the guy who flopped quads never folds preflop. If you 3/4-bet him, he'll say "I know what you got, them aces." And call any amount of his stack away just to crack them.

Had several -5k nights 'Slotbooming'.

God, I run bad at live Omaha.

[/ QUOTE ]Well, it is pretty obvious the tactic has huge variance. You could almost compare it to coin flip since in Omaha almost no hand is big dog like in Hold 'em.

[/ QUOTE ]

Which is a better matchup.

Top 20% of NL hands vs worst 20%
Top 20% of PLOhands vs worst 20%

[/ QUOTE ]In Omaha there are a lot of more hands. It's true that if you compare match-ups between AAJT vs. 2222 and AA vs. 22 Hold 'em wins. People are though smart enough not to push with worst hands. These hands include most likely trips and unconnected rainbows.

I think better match-up would be top PLO hands but still Omaha has bigger variance than Hold 'em.

So for those playing at home, would you care to correct your statement:

"in Omaha almost no hand is big dog like in Hold 'em."

You're having the most semantically useless argument I've ever heard.

I think you have some tense problems in you're sentence structure.

I will hope that this mistake had been intentional.

I used pokerstove to get the top 20% hands for HE, then the top 80% hands and hands picked the bottom 20%(there aren't many hands left besides the top 80%). The result I got shows top 20% holdem hands is 70/30 against bottom 20%.

Anyone knows how to do PLO? I know how to do top X% but not bottom X%.

This is indeed a trick question because...how do you rate PLO hands due to the intransitivity of the transitive properties of PLO hands?

Omaha just doesn't work like this. For the most part, an omaha hand's value is determined on-and-after the flop, not when the cards are dealt.
