Reads help. I make this call all the time. It is very marginal and prone to variance, obviously. I don't make this call often against unknowns, however. I need to know that my opponent is capable of some amount of aggression. It doesn't take much of a read, just something that indicates villain will bet on perceived weakness. It really sucks to pay off small pp's here, so fold to weaktites.
It is really villain dependent. But not a bad call down in the right spots, I guess. |
