Re: Survivor China OFFICIAL THREAD
actually for a recap show I really enjoyed it. There were a lot of unaired footage mixed it. Overall, a pretty enjoyable show.
I still can't get over how beautiful China is. I was pretty bummed out when we found out it wasn't going to be in a tropical location but China instead. But I gotta say, the scenery has been breathtaking. Caught me by surprise. |

Re: Survivor China OFFICIAL THREAD
f bomb I missed another episode and the guy who usually uploads them on Youtube is on vacation sigh
also wanted to say, it seems like the producers purposely cast less than average intelligence asians onto the show after Yul won.. I couldn't stand Stacy's dumb ass last season. and why can't they cast 1 good looking asian girl per season? is that too much to ask? |

[ QUOTE ] My prediction 7. PG 6. Erik 5. James 4. Denise 3. Courtney 2. Todd 1. Amanda [/ QUOTE ] If the rules stay the way they are, then the only way James can be voted out 5th is if he loses all three challenges and also uses up his two immunity idols on the first two...really unlikely. I mean, of course he could also be blindsided, but blindsiding him got a lot harder to do when Todd warned him two weeks ago about a possible scheme and then activated James's spider-sense. And do you really see Amanda beating Todd in a final vote? Arguments: Todd: I've controlled the strategy side of this game since the beginning Amanda: I've, uh, let Todd control all the strategy since the beginning, see I'm super cunning! [/ QUOTE ] Amanda would probably destroy Todd in the final vote. It's happened a lot in past survivors, most notably that Danni chick. Members of jury: Todd, you backstabbed us and we hate you so we vote Amanda. The jury doesn't care that Todd controlled the strategy, they just care that he screwed them, so they aren't gonna vote him to 1 million bucks. |

Re: Survivor China OFFICIAL THREAD
Actually Todd insisted on some boneheaded moves that Amanda was against, but it's hard to argue on what might have been.

Re: Survivor China OFFICIAL THREAD
Amanda: Great plan, great result, horrible execution. If james plays the idol, she loses her closest ally. All she had to do to protect Todd was convince PG and Eric she could get one more vote and they would have voted for James. Very lucky.

Re: Survivor China OFFICIAL THREAD
huge mistake. if he had spent even five seconds thinking on the second level, he would've known to play one idol tonight. not only was it the perfect time for them to blindside him, but he has two idols and three(?) opportunities left to use them, so if he wins an individual immunity, one idol could go to waste.
this shows yau to be like a 5x better player than james, since he was able to use the idol properly even when it was a WAY tougher call. one of the best ep's of survivor ever though for me, one of those rare times when you really don't know what will happen pei-geih is such an underrated player. she has been making the optimal move for about six episodes now. she was by far the most convincing liar at tribal council - although i think it's debatable what was better for her, james to use the idol, or not. i wonder who eric voted for... |
