Tuff, You can't even figure out that you have a straight, a flush, or a straight flush in 7 seconds while playing one table. Shut up about multitablers being too slow. [/ QUOTE ] lolz. |

Re: Zero Rake Poker Business plan
Just a little something else for you guys to ponder over.
What happens when every fish in the country (and out of the country too) is playing on their own homegame network? For the full thread and background look HERE After going back and forth a couple of times with one of the ace programmers here at work, (who's hobby is computer security ) I now have complete confidence that we can solve the individual server security question. There is a methodology to ensure that the code running any of our individual servers has not been tampered with. Therefore, if a homegame is running "my" implementation of the open source poker software, the players will know it is safe and that someone has not gotten into it and is now looking at your hole cards. So, if you trust "me" then you will know whatever home game is running "my" software is honest. At least as far as the poker site program is concerned. "My" software will be running play money games. (your choice of play money rake or not) If and how you handle turning play money games into real money games is left to the individual homegame operators. Schemes to turn play money into real money is another thing keeping my mind busy. The thing is not to fool the DOJ, it is to do so in a way that they can't do anything about it. Tuff |

The delaying of the game by multitablers is a peeve [/ QUOTE ] Dude, this is exactly what I'm talking about. It puts me and undoubtedly countless other 2+2ers on massive lifetilt to see you make ridiculously untrue claims like this. If you really believe that multi-tablers delay the game, then you obviously haven't stopped to consider that the only 2+2ers playing on your site would play other sites at the same time, meaning they're probably still on 8 tables and take the same length of time; if, however, you set a limit of 4 tables, those players might find that enough to avoid the hassle of playing on multiple sites at once. I just don't know why you expect to get our support when you clearly have your own agenda that conflicts with the desires of the majority of players on this site. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't expect the support of many of you. I do however, expect to see almost all of you on the new rake free single tabling site when/if it comes to be. You all will be in here bitc*ing and whining about not being able to use a net, but you will all be on the site anyway. I am really liking the homegame concept better and better. There would not be a single big site but several hundred micro sites, all running real money games however they wanted. Rake, no rake, poker for food, poker for beer, poker for girlfriends, whatever. The poker software would only cost $xxx (affordable) but the havoc it would wreck on the DOJ would be priceless. Tuff << "what is going to happen Dave? Something good HAL." |

Re: Zero Rake Poker Business plan
Are you trolling, or have you completely lost your mind? "Several hundred micro sites"? So the "homegame" host puts on a game with 4 of his buddies and cleans out 4 other players? Who is running the security? The host? The players? Yeah, I think I will stick to playing on sites that are impartial.

The game software is secure. You need to know who you are playing with dummy. Just like in real life. BTW, YOU don't need to participate. The fish will be the ones putting on their own games. In all likelyhood, they won't be inviting nit grinders. YOU can stay at Full Tilt. YOU won't be missed. Sounds better by the minute. Tuff |

How you do your banking and settle up in real life with real money is up to you. Be clever and/or honest no problem. Get greedy or stupid.... Oops. |

BTW, YOU don't need to participate. Then again the fish likely won't either because they'll never hear about my site without an advertising budget and they already flock to play money tables at other sites with people they know, and I really don't have a method for ensuring winnings make it to the right person yet. But then again who knows, maybe I have a secret plan to get past all of this also. [/ QUOTE ] |
