Poker Video File Size ?
Made a short video with CamStudio but it was 1gb large. Any reason for that? I've noticed lots of the videos posted on megaupload are <100mb. This video was only 30min. and was just two normal sized tables. I think I'm doing something wrong. Thanks in advance.

Re: Poker Video File Size ?
Your resolution and/or video bitrate are probably way too high. You'll have to reduce them in video editing software, but get a decent balance so that everything is still easily visible in your video obviously. I'm sure there will be tutorials on here somewhere.
Using winrar to compress the files before you upload is also handy for poker vids. I think winrar must be clever enough to know that the majority of the areas of the video stay the same when videoing a poker session (i.e the only things that change are positions where hole cards/board appears and player info) so it can compress it very well. But then of course the file is still large when whoever downloads it decompresses it. |

How to make a Video
Pretty sure the OP covers it in this post. I have never made a video - but I have had this link for ages. |
