I never understood ppl who berate the fish. Don't you WANT them to reload or keep playing poker? Why make their experience on the table a worse place for them? I'd be encouraging them to play more so they can pay my f'n bills.

No question, those who berate others after winning (poor winners) are much, much worse than those who berate others after losing (poor losers). However, it does serve to tilt others even further, and may end up getting you even more money when people play back at you trying to get their money back. Don't you all go on the biggest tilt when the hugest donkey in the world, with 75% vpip plays 8-4 off, flops the 4 and rivers the 8, reraises your river value bet and you snap call and the pot slides to him then says, "thanks!" in the chat? That's when I have to remind myself to just chill.

TBH, when those idiots say 'thanks' I immediate mute them because nothing they say is going to be worthy of an intelligent response. I understand berating the regulars to get them on tilt, however, berating the newb spewing fish is a completely different story. It usually does nothing but create an uncomfortable environment for them and make them want to leave.
