The first thing that popped into my mind was my favorite role for Rene Zelweger, Nurse Betty.

I haven't seen it but this movie sounds pretty interesting TomE. I might just add it to my blockbuster queue. [/ QUOTE ] Definitely worth the time to rent it. I saw it after doing some research on the time frame, specifically the Velvet Underground, who were the "house" band for Andy Warhol's Factory. That led me to see this movie, which in turn led me to "Factory Girl", which was about Edie Sedgwick. Something about the people attracted to Andy Warhol, they were all so self-destructive, although the film about Valerie Solanus makes it seem as if she understood Warhol's status and was trying to use it to push her agenda. Anyway, both of these are great flicks. |

Re: Crazy Women! Film and TV characters
Haha! I just looked her up and discovered that she has made a zillion movies almost none of which I have seen (except for the 2 you guys just mentioned - Pulp Fiction and The Fisher King ) She must be pretty old.
But check this out, she made a movie called The Lounge People. How do you like that! Here is the plot summary "Louis and Cynthia Lewis are an insanely rich couple suffering from an acute case of boredom on their private island estate. Louis produces his own version of "Moby Dick" to end the tedium and to get his mind off his recently-discovered ill health; meanwhile, his wife and the three-person staff engage in several sexual escapades with each other." Sounds like a winner to me |
