Default Re: Finding the right lawyer

It sounds like you need a personal assistant. I'm sure you could find an attorney to act as a coordinator, but like Skall said attorneys are largely limited by geography (although the trend is that this requirement is loosening for corporate counsel, which may or may not be applicable to your situation).

IMO using an attorney to coordinate your legal affairs would be too expensive, when you could just hire a full time assistant to coordinate that for you, plus any number of other matters. FWIW, I have never charged anybody for a referral to another lawyer, but on several occasions I have come up empty when asked for a referral (no sir, I don't have a referral to a divorce attorney in Wisconsin - try the yellow pages/Martindale-Hubble?). A personal assistant would be able to help.
