Re: $114 hand vs. Ryanghall
Very interesting hand, in that it quickly becomes a question of metagame and equilibrium with QQ right on the borderline, I dont think theres a wrong answer from the QQ perspective, on the one hand it doesnt do great against eagles range but knowing both are good players eagles probably has some capacity to shove light(not light on an absolute scale but a relative one), if eagles KNOWS rgh is folding QQ that obviously opens his shove range even more so calling to make a point has merit as well(its not really a spite call since you'll have decent equity with the QQ) As for the JJ in theory I think its good(you should prob be shoving Ts and maybe 9s too if JJ is a shove though) but in practice its hard to have an expectation of any villain folding QQ to a 3bet, added bonus of having regs see that you can get JJ all in early.

This is probably one of the more interesting threads in STTF in a while so I figured I'd bump it. Looking back on it its pretty close I'm not sure if I like my JJ shove I def like RGH 's fold of QQ. I think if RGH 3bet cold with AK here it would be pretty awful. [/ QUOTE ] Yea i really dont like the JJ push. Interesting hand though. |

Re: $114 hand vs. Ryanghall
I'd fold because I remember in sngs I'd just fold until 4 people were left and then I'd go all in every hand.
