Low to mid pair in the SB short stacked
I felt like I could have easily raised here preflop, especially with my short stack. However, I wasn't really in a gambling mood. I didn't want to flip coins with anybody at this point. I figured the best way to win a decent sized pot was to just complete the blind and try to flop a set.
After I made three of a kind, I was hoping someone had a queen and would bet the flop. However, I didn't feel like I could afford to let anyone see the river for free after the turn brought a flush draw and low straight possibilities. With my short stack, I didn't feel like I had much choice but to bet big on the turn. Thoughts? Re: Low to mid pair in the SB short stacked
I'm shocked you didn't push preflop with only 9 Big blinds and almost 3.5 BB's in the pot already.
This seems like a huge leak to me. CC |

Re: Low to mid pair in the SB short stacked
Definitely shove preflop, also what range do you put the CO on when he limps?
