Spew with AA?
Can't remember the exact details and no reads, but ..
Pokerroom .15/.25, five-handed. Hero in SB with AA, Villain in BB, both have about $25. Pre-flop: UTG and CO limp, Button folds, Hero raises to $1, BB, UTG and CO all call. Flop: 882 r UTG checks, CO checks, Hero bets $2.5, BB bets $10, UTG, CO both fold and ... Hero shoves. Limit instincts affecting my game. In the absence of a good read this is terrible, terrible spew, right? |

Re: Spew with AA?
preflop raise to 1.5$
and yes it is =) if he is not bluffing, probably has the 8 if he raises in a multiway-pot. |

Re: Spew with AA?
No I don't agree.
On a rainbow board with no draws hes very likely going to flat call if he has a very strong hand like 22 or 8x. I push expecting his range to include 55-JJ |

Re: Spew with AA?
Easy push here.
I expect any 8 to slowplay. He has an overpair here, if he calls. |

Re: Spew with AA?
Raise more preflop, and the stackoff is fine. The mistake is not in stacking off, its with not raising enough preflop. 8x is pretty much a cooler as far as I'm concerned, even if we just call the 3bet, why fold the turn? Pretty standard.

Re: Spew with AA?
Don't push the flop. Call, and let him hand himself on the turn. You might fold out hands he would push himself on the river.

Re: Spew with AA?
I call flop. If he leads turn, I shove.

Re: Spew with AA?
I think lot of PPs are happy to stack off against us here. If we only call flop, do you think villain will feel comitted even if scare card (K/Q)hits on turn?
