i hate folding so [censored] much [/ QUOTE ] Don't. At BEST you're 56% to win (against AJ+, TT+). Most likely you are 37% (QQ+). I'd need to see him do this several times before I'd even consider calling. Move on, you've invested nothing. |

Re: 25 nl ak vs. ridiculous pf shove
Ive seen this only once in my entire career. He had KK. I had AA. Lolaments ensued.
So in other words, if you cant beat KK+, fold. |

Re: 25 nl ak vs. ridiculous pf shove

I uttered some obscenities and folded. Can someone rationalize this with some maths? [/ QUOTE ] You need 48.5% equity to call profitably against his range here. Against KK+, you have 23% Against QQ+, AK you have 41.9% Against JJ+, AQs+, AKo you have 45.6% Against TT+,AQs+,AQo+ you have 51.6% This is a pretty easy fold imo considering those ranges, unless you have a specific read or the guy is on wild monkey tilt. |

Re: 25 nl ak vs. ridiculous pf shove
I have done this myself after UTG raised 20xBB pre flop. With AA of course. He had QQ.
Then again I called such a bet with AKs and won vs. 75o. But my guy was 80/50 approx. I guess vs. this one it's a fold. |

Similar hand happened to me yesterday, TBH I think I probably should have folded, no reads on villain:
