Re: ***Official November Chat Thread: The Golden Duck***
ur not crazy
I think he's just saying that overall luck=/=all in equity FWIW, this month I'm running ~4buyin below expectation, BUT have had 12 AAvsKKs as opposed to only 2 KKvsAAs. Set over sets are even. This is sick variance in my favour, but isn't calculated in equity. |

Re: ***Official November Chat Thread: The Golden Duck***
yup.
and i still consider it lucky to b on the good side of AA>KK, and set>set. saddly, those set ups are a pretty decent part of our winrates |

Re: ***Official November Chat Thread: The Golden Duck***
All;
I never really realized what a powerful tool PokerEV was. You can filter hands VERY specifically to find leaks (under the statistics tab). For example: This might be super embarrasing, but when I filter my hands to show only hands where 'action on river is a call' by me, I am down $1217.50 this month (-1.6bb/hand) Can some other people run this filter and let me know if I'm just a terrible calling station? |

Re: ***Official November Chat Thread: The Golden Duck***
Interesting feature...I'm down (0.4)BB when "action on river is a call"...
BTW: How many hands have this been for you when you turn on this filter? And how many hands did you play so far this month? I'm just asking because the number of hands that come up for me when I turn on this filter is incredible low! |
