i am setting money on fire by betting this flop huh?
i could give stats on all villains (assume all 3 are at least slightly competent) but i'm looking for more general case here.. how often are you betting this flop, how often are you checking? if you bet with this, do you ever bet with 88 here? i bet here too often i think and i have not gotten desired results.

Re: i am setting money on fire by betting this flop huh?
betting here is quite fine. checking once ina blue would be ok i suppose but i like to bet. somebody is going to have an 8 sometimes, an overpair (including a slowplayed QQ-AA sometimes but rarely) overs that they will call with cuz they suck etc....

Re: i am setting money on fire by betting this flop huh?
really depends on your image and the other guys in the pot
betting with 33 is probably fine with no real reads because you dont really have a lock. Id check 88 here. EDIT: i like betting more after seeing these guys are competent. I think their ranges are weighted towards PPs and SC's. Just lead and hope someone has 87s or A8s or decides to peel with 99. |

Re: i am setting money on fire by betting this flop huh?
Betting is okay, but I'm leaning towards a check. If someone has an 8 you're gonna stack them anyway, and you're also going to have a hard time getting multiple streets of value from a low pocket pair because betting a 4-way flop like this looks very strong. Checking lets people hit an overcard or maybe pick up a draw, letting you get value from hands that are probably going to fold to a flop bet.

Re: i am setting money on fire by betting this flop huh?
definitely bet. there are so many people in the pot, someone will usually tag along.
there was something interesting CTS said in one of the CR vids. he said that if you notice villains folding alot in spots, start bluffing, and when you notice them looking you up, start valuebetting. so if you think people are folding this flop too much, then you should bet 45s or AKo or anything here as a bluff all about balance |

Re: i am setting money on fire by betting this flop huh?
I like betting here. 88 I would check. With four more people, it is not unlikely that someone has a hand like 66. It sucks so much to get full vs full, or have someone's trips fill out.

if there ever was a time i'd slow play this would be it, as the board is so dry.
