Re: QTs flop shove
Bluff imo. I like check call better. Probably much better. Or check/raise given stack size and being so gungho about getting it in here, at least you'd get some money from AK instead of letting him fold by leading.

Re: QTs flop shove
why fold pf? QTs are pretty good to open-raise from CO and given the implied odds it't almost always profitable to call his minraise

Re: QTs flop shove
playing QT oop in a 3bet pot vs. an unknown isn't particularly good. the open raise is obv. fine.

Re: QTs flop shove
so we should fold QTS OOP everytime we get a minraise?
Just want to improve my game, frankly speaking I almost NEVER fold preflop when I am minraised. Pot odds of seeing the flop are really good. Am I wrong? |

Am I wrong? [/ QUOTE ] depends on the opponents range, ability and stack sizes. If you're planning on getting your whole stack in with a midsized pair regardless of the action, you're probably better off folding. Cause, unless your table selection is so good that all your opponents are the worst of the worst, you're going to lose a lot of money here more often then not (or the hands you beat will fold) |

Re: QTs flop shove
hmm without read I fold in such a spot! Risking your stack with just one pair against the PFA is not the best play imo. Two times of minraises look as if villains has a strong hand and dont want to scare you away! I'd never donk/push in this spot!
