Kind of depends on just how he 'snapped' on the dealer. If he threatened him at all, yes, he should've been booted.

After repeated requests for the dealer to speed it up from action guy and another player, the action guy slapped the table in the one seat. He may have said something, I didn't hear it from the 9 seat. There was no credible threat of violence.

The only action you can ever really take in a casino is to fill out a customer comment form. All complaining that does not make it onto one of these forms is wasted breath because upper management will never see it.
