If he has a draw (which he does), a smallish bet is giving him great odds to call. If the name of the game is to make them make mistakes, a smallish bet with the intention of shoving all rivers doesnt accomplish our goal. What am I missing?

why would you put him on a draw? [/ QUOTE ] Can't put him squarely on a draw, but 88 is rare and 99+ usually raise flop if its a bad agro opponent. A8 is obv very rarely if ever calling a 3bet preflop. Thus a draw has to be at least a reasonable part of his range. |
