wsop circuit tahoe
ahand came up during the 550 event here that i am wondering peoples opinions on it. starting stack 4k we are about 50 min into tourney(40 min levels) i had been bullying the table and built my stack up 2 about 8k. i have played with villian in the past and he knows how to play but not the best player i have ever played with.blinds are 50-100.im in the small blind villian rasies to 400 from middle position everyone folds to me and i have AK off in the sb i flat call the raise as does the big blind. pot is 1200 preflop. flop comes down A 8 2 rainbow i check hoping to hide my hand and raise original raiser everyone else also checks. turn 7 complete rainbow. i lead for 700 big blind folds villian shoves for 2800. thoughts on what to do?

Re: wsop circuit tahoe
Stacks please! Assuming you have him well covered, it's still early in the event and you've proven you can build up your staack by bullying the table, I would snapcall there for sure.

[ QUOTE ]
flop comes down A 8 2 rainbow i check hoping to hide my hand [/ QUOTE ] so pretty much you gave no thought to what cards the other people had preflop or on the flop? or did you just think that the preflop raiser or big blind would their pair of aces if you led into them on the flop? and on the turn you didn't think about what type of hand the other people were putting you on after your pf smooth call and flop check, and you didn't think that your hand was severely underepped? also, please post in the correct forum and with spaces, stack sizes, punctuation, capitalization, reads, and paragraphs in the future. PS - call and fist pump sounds about right |
