Applying Stox Book @ 10/20
I've learned a lot from Stox book, but am wondering how to best apply it to loose and passive games like the 10/20 AC games I usually play. It seems like some of the more aggressive moves (e.g. Blind Defense strategies)go unnoticed by the passive donks I often face. In these types of games how much Stox thinking do you apply successfully?

[/ QUOTE ] you use the book a lot in determining WHEN to apply it, but in terms of applying it in looser, multiway pots the more aggressive HU and semibluffing lines are not relevant - you want to bet and raise made hands for value and huge draws and otherwise bluff very little and try to draw cheaply/when you ahve odds. lee jones covers these games in winning low limit holdem as does SSHE. |
